According to their website The Blues Bar in Harrogate is a “Rollicking night-time Blues Music Hangout and relaxed daytime café and Bar with a funky decor” and [Editor’s note] Having been there personally many times, I can confirm this!
Small Café style venue in Harrogate Town Centre, literally a few seconds walk from the world famous Betty’s Tea Room & Café, with a small stage, probably fewer than 30 seats, but with a fantastic intimate atmosphere.
Check for occasional variations, but Jam Night every Monday, Acoustic Sessions on a Tuesday, the fabulous Maurice Grumbleweed singing the Blues every Wednesday, and Guest Bands / Artistes on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and double or occasionally treble up Bands all day on Sunday.
On Sunday 23rd February there is a show by Empress – a female fronted Rock Covers Band covering such as: Halestorm, Evanescence, DC etc. Starts at 3pm, followed by Lima Sierra at 6pm.
