Most people are familiar with the Yorkshire Coast resort of Bridlington, the Town Centre, the Sea Front and the Theatres, Hotels, Pubs and Bars. However, many visitors may not be aware of Bridlington Old Town, which is found via Quay Road, towards Scarborough.
Bridlington Old Town encompasses the Priory Church, Bayle Museum, and is a quiet, charming area full of fascinating Architecture and cultural riches. There are Shops, Bars, Cafes and was the setting for the Filming of the Dad’s Army film, and further back still of The Royal in which your Editor and the lovely Stephanie Jane were heavily featured!
The Board Inn is a Public House right in the middle of The Old Town on the High Street, and boasts a large selection of Ales, Wines, Spirits and Charcuterie Boards!
Every Tuesday Evening at 8pm there is an Acoustic ‘Singaround’ at The Board Inn, and all are welcome whether to play or spectate!
