Ilkley is a former Spa Town in West Yorkshire, technically within The Greater City of Bradford, yet with a Leeds Post code, and because it straddles the River Wharfe is often referred to as part of Wharfedale, and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. It is situated 17 miles North West of Leeds, and 12 miles North of Bradford. Ilkley is he last Station on the Leeds to Ilkley Railway line, which stops at Burley in Wharfedale, Menston, and Guiseley. Nearby Villages include Addingham, Denton, Ben Rhydding, and Beamsley. It is, of course nestling at the foot of Ilkley Moor with a clear view, but a steep walk to the Cow and Calf Rocks.
The Clarke Foley Community Hub is a registered Charity based in the centre of Ilkley, just a few paces away from the Town’s main Car Park. It stages a variety of Events, Classes and Activities. and it has been serving the Community of Ilkley since 1981, providing inclusive facilities for people of all ages to pursue Recreational, Educational and Leisure activities.
