A Champion’s Legacy

‘The #1 Live Experience for Families’ returns to Bridlington Spa on Monday 27 October to celebrate the life of former 3 x Megaslam Champion and Bridlington Spa regular, Mick Romeo.

Mick appeared on the very first Megaslam show back in 2009 and coincidentally appeared in the first match staged inside the Royal Hall in 2012. Mick lost his battle with cancer in June 2025 and now, stars from past and present come together for one special evening of adrenaline fuelled family fun.

Matches will include 1 vs. 1, Tag Team Thriller, Megaslam Rumble and much more.

‘We wanted to stage a very special and personal tribute to former Megaslam Champion and friend, Mick Romeo and there was only one place to do this – the Bridlington Spa. We cannot wait to return ‘home’ for one night only and all of the biggest wrestling stars from past and present shows will be there for this ultimate super show celebration’

All Megaslam proceeds from this event will be given directly to Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract.
