Garforth is a town within the Metropolitan Borough of Leeds in West Yorkshire. It boasts a population of about 15,000, is situated about 7 miles to the east of Leeds centre, 10 miles north of Wakefield, and 15 miles south-west of York. It is conveniently located for easy access to the M1 and M62 motorways and the A1 (Great North Road).
Garforth Working Men’s Club was founded in 1907, and is a Member’s Club. It is home to Garforth Tigers Junior Football Team, and has a range of Entertainment events including Line Dancing on a Thursday, Karaoke and Bingo on a Friday and Live Entertainment every Sunday evening. The Concert Room is available to Members for Private Functions on other days.
