DESCRIPTION:Filey is a small Seaside Resort and Fishing Village on the North Yorkshire Coast\, located between Scarborough to the North and Bridlington to the South. Filey Bay is known for it’s natural beauty\, with a long stretch of golden sands\, and a popular shopping Centre without the commercialism of it’s larger neighbours. Filey Brig is a long narrow peninsular situated about a mile North of the town. It features exposed beams and floorboards and has a large South-facing Beer Garden and facilities for Events\, Functions and Wedding Receptions. \nRyburn 3 Step is a Folk Development Organisation\, promoting Traditional Song\, Music and Dance in the Ryburn Valley. The Ryburn 3 Step Folk Club has a Monthly Guest Night on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Featured Guest are supported by an all-star cast of resident singers. The Yorkshire  Otley is in an area called Lower Wharfedale\, and the River Wharfe splits the Town in half\, with the Town Centre being to the South of the river\, but the majority of residences to the North. It was once believed that it had more pubs per head of population than any other Town or City in Great Britain\, although some of these pubs have since closed down\, although there are still probably 20 Pubs\, Clubs and Bars – more than enough to cater for a Population of less than 15\,000. \nOne of those surviving Pubs is the Black Horse which stands in  a imposing Town Centre position\, overlooking Manor Square and the statue of Otley’s most famous Son\, English Cabinet Worker Thomas Chippendale\, whose creations still grace some of the World’s finest residencies. It is an iconic Victorian Pub\, beautifully restored by Leeds based Kirkstall Brewery. \nThe Black Horse hosts Otley Folk Club\, who meet every Wednesday Evening in the upstairs room\, with a Guest Artist one week\, and then the following week being a Singer’s Night  with the opportunity for local singers and instrumentalists to take to the floor and display their talents. DESCRIPTION:Otley is a Market Town\, within the governance of The Metropolitan Borough of the City of Leeds\, West Yorkshire. There is also another Otley somewhere near Ipswich in Suffolk\, which occasionally causes confusion. The Yorkshire  Otley is in an area called Lower Wharfedale\, and the River Wharfe splits the Town in half\, with the Town Centre being to the South of the river\, but the majority of residences to the North. It was once believed that it had more pubs per head of population than any other Town or City in Great Britain\, although some of these pubs have since closed down\, although there are still probably 20 Pubs\, Clubs and Bars – more than enough to cater for a Population of less than 15\,000. \nOne of those surviving Pubs is the Black Horse which stands in  a imposing Town Centre position\, overlooking Manor Square and the statue of Otley’s most famous Son\, English Cabinet Worker Thomas Chippendale\, whose creations still grace some of the World’s finest residencies. It is an iconic Victorian Pub\, beautifully restored by Leeds based Kirkstall Brewery. \nThe Black Horse hosts Otley Folk Club\, who meet every Wednesday Evening in the upstairs room\, with a Guest Artist one week\, and then the following week being a Singer’s Night  with the opportunity for local singers and instrumentalists to take to the floor and display their talents. It is where the Calder and Hebble Navigation and Rochdale Canal meet on the edge of The Pennines. Once an Industrial Centre\, Pubs\, Bars and Cafes now fill many of the old Canal Buildings. \nHollins Mill formerly a Joinery Workshop\, won a National Award for ‘Best Conversion to Pub Use‘ in 2006 and is a spacious open-plan Venue besides the Rochdale Canal\, to the West of the Town Centre. It features exposed beams and floorboards and has a large South-facing Beer Garden and facilities for Events\, Functions and Wedding Receptions. \nRyburn 3 Step is a Folk Development Organisation\, promoting Traditional Song\, Music and Dance in the Ryburn Valley. The Ryburn 3 Step Folk Club has a Monthly Guest Night on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Featured Guest are supported by an all-star cast of resident singers. The Evening starts at 7pm with a few songs from residents\, followed by the Guest Artist\, and a short interval. The Grove Inn is situated on Back Row\, Holbeck\, but only a few minutes walk to the south of Leeds City Centre. The Music Room is small and intimate\, and has an incredible atmosphere perfect for enjoying the fabulous variety of top quality Music and Comedy on offer. \nHighly recommended. \nMonday is Folk Music Night with floor singers welcome.
