DESCRIPTION:Andy Marsh at Tinshill & Cookridge Social Club\, Leeds LS16 6PF\n\n\nTinshill & Cookridge Club is a friendly Club\,  situated just a short walk away from Horsforth Railway Station\, on the Leeds to York line and there is a regular Bus Service which stops right outside the Club connecting nearby Holt Park with Leeds City centre. \nThe 200 capacity Concert Room is available for Private Functions. \nSaturday Evening is Cabaret Time\, and the show is usually divided into 3 sets. The first ‘Flyer’ of Bingo is played about 8.30pm followed by the Artist’s 1st and then 2nd spots with ‘Open the Box’ in between. \nCIU affiliated Club members and Bona Fide guests are welcome\, although only Member’s Children \, (who must be aged 5 years or older)\, are admitted to the Concert Room. \nThe Show finishes with the Artists 3rd and final spot\, normally up-tempo and with a nice sized Dance Floor\, there’s plenty of room for the regular dancers to ‘Bust some moves!’ \nOn Saturday 5th December the Artist is Pax \nbilled as a Star Guitar Vocalist.\n5 star Venue ***** (One of our personal favourites!)

DESCRIPTION:Swarcliffe is a residential area in Leeds 14 about 4 miles from Leeds City Centre and bordered by Seacroft\, Whinmoor and Thorner. Swarcliffe Working Men’s Club has an extensive programme of Live Entertainment with shows on both Saturday and Sunday Evenings\, as well as Houses of Bingo and Open the Box. The area has always been well blessed with Clubs\, which include the nearby\, and still thriving Bramley Band Club\, and the former Bramley Social Club\, which I believe (please correct me if I am wrong) is now known as Bramley Villagers Club\, but who can recall the New Bramley Memorial Club? I suspect it might have been closed down several years ago\, and probably sold as building land\, but please let me know!!! \nBramley WMC was often referred to as Elder Road Club\, and is located on Elder Road\, just off Stanningley Road. DESCRIPTION:Shafton is a Village in the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley\, just on the Southern side of the South and West Yorkshire boundary. It is on the main Pontefract to Barnsley Road\, about 5 miles to the East of Barnsley Town Centre. Despite it’s Coal Mining Heritage\, the Village is surrounded by beautiful Countryside\, making it a popular destination for Walking and Cycling. \nShafton Working Men’s Club is located on High Street in Shafton\, and a review from a Band who had appeared at the Club stated:“This is a really great Club with Top Notch Bar and Management plus a great Family atmosphere. You will have a great night here\, for sure.” It is a Member’s Club\, but prospective applicants are invited to apply direct to the Club for Membership\, which in 2025 stood at only £4.00 \nThere are currently two Live Music Shows a week (a small Cover Charge may apply to certain shows)\, Quiz Nights in the Lounge every Tuesday and Thursday\, and a Bingo Session every Wednesday from 8pm. A Function Room is available to hire for Private Parties and Events at very reasonable rates. \nBand on Saturday 6th December is ‘JohnHouse Experience’\nBrilliant Live Band
