DESCRIPTION:The Tiger Inn is a popular Village Pub in Beeford\, a couple of miles from the East Yorkshire Coast and equidistant from Beverley\, Bridlington\, Hornsea and Driffield. A recent change of Management sees John and Jane as new  temporary Managers\, although plans are afoot for them to take the Pub on a long term tenancy (as at July 2025). \nEvery Wednesday from 8.30pm there is an Open Mic Night in the Dining area which accommodates about 30 people\, so it’s a nice intimate atmosphere\, with an often  small but appreciative audience. As a result there is no PA system available\, although one of the regulars 0ften brings his own system which he is happy for others to use. \nFood is available until 7.30pm\, so if you require a pre-show bite to eat\, then it’s best to book a table first on 01262 – 488218. \nOpen Mic Night on Wednesday 16th July 2025 from 8.30pm\n

It boasts a population of about 15\,000\, is situated about 7 miles to the east of Leeds centre\, 10 miles north of Wakefield\, and 15 miles south-west of York. It is conveniently located for easy access to the M1 and M62 motorways and the A1 (Great North Road). \nGarforth Working Men’s Club was founded in 1907\, and is a Member’s Club. It is home to Garforth Tigers Junior Football Team\, and has a range of Entertainment events including Line Dancing on a Thursday\, Karaoke and Bingo on a Friday and Live Entertainment every Sunday evening. The Concert Room is available to Members for Private Functions on other days. \nThe Leeds CIU Entertainment Section are holding their Monthly Meeting and Showcase at Garforth W. M. The first ‘Flyer’ is played about 8.30pm followed by the Artist’s 1st and 2nd spots. \nThere is Bingo and Open the Box offering Big Money Opportunities\, although some of the prizes are limited to Members only. CIU affiliated Club members and Bona Fide guests are welcome. DESCRIPTION:Sowerby Bridge is a Market Town in the Upper Calder Valley in Calderdale\, West Yorkshire. It is where the Calder and Hebble Navigation and Rochdale Canal meet on the edge of The Pennines. Once an Industrial Centre\, Pubs\, Bars and Cafes now fill many of the old Canal Buildings. \nHollins Mill formerly a Joinery Workshop\, won a National Award for ‘Best Conversion to Pub Use‘ in 2006 and is a spacious open-plan Venue besides the Rochdale Canal\, to the West of the Town Centre. It features exposed beams and floorboards and has a large South-facing Beer Garden and facilities for Events\, Functions and Wedding Receptions. \nRyburn 3 Step is a Folk Development Organisation\, promoting Traditional Song\, Music and Dance in the Ryburn Valley. The Ryburn 3 Step Folk Club has a Monthly Guest Night on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Featured Guest are supported by an all-star cast of resident singers. The Evening starts at 7pm with a few songs from residents\, followed by the Guest Artist\, and a short interval. SUMMARY:Drop Leg Steppers at Knaresborough Working Men's Club
DESCRIPTION:Located on Kirkgate in the historic town of Knaresborough\, the Working Men’s Club  boasts a spectacular view of the famous River and Viaduct from the beer garden which is also a sun trap! Kirkgate runs parallel to the A59 through Knaresborough Town Centre\, and access to the road is best made by turning right from the Market Square\, immediately before the Police Station. \nThe Games Room has two snooker tables\, there is a lounge area\, and of course the two tier Concert Room with seating for perhaps 80 people. Although most of the main areas of the club are on one level\, entry and exit to the Club is via 2 narrow double doors and a couple of steep steps\, making it a little difficult for the disabled\, but not impossible with assistance. \nThe Club have recently changed their Entertainment programme and now have Bands on once a month\, as advertised locally. \nDrop Leg Steppers will be appearing on Saturday 7th June\, with doors opening at 8pm. They are an 8 piece with elements of Reggae\, Soul\, Ska\, Dub Fusion Band\, with Music to dance to!

DESCRIPTION:Ilkley is a former Spa Town in West Yorkshire\, technically within The Greater City of Bradford\, yet with a Leeds Post code\, and because it straddles the River Wharfe is often referred to as part of Wharfedale\, and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. It is situated 17 miles North West of Leeds\, and 12 miles North of Bradford. Ilkley is he last Station on the Leeds to Ilkley Railway line\, which stops at Burley in Wharfedale\, Menston\, and Guiseley.  Nearby Villages include Addingham\, Denton\, Ben Rhydding\, and Beamsley. It is\, of course nestling at the foot of Ilkley Moor with a clear view\, but a steep walk to the Cow and Calf Rocks. \nThe Clarke Foley Community Hub is a registered Charity based in the centre of Ilkley\, just a few paces away from the Town’s main Car Park.
