SUMMARY:Jack & The Beanstalk at Theatre Royal\, Wakefield WF1 2TE
DESCRIPTION:The story of a boy\, a cow\, magic beans and a fearsome giant gets the Wakefield treatment that you’ve come to know and love. A brand new script\, glittering sets\, less than glamorous baddies and a Dame that’s unmatched\, there’s no wonder that Wakefield’s very own pantomime never disappoints! \nCertain performances have been adapted to suit people with hearing difficulties or who are on the Autistic Spectrum\, have learning difficulties\, or with Sensory or Communication disorders. Performances of this kind may also be suitable for some families with young children or which include audience members that may need to move around during a performance. Please contact the Theatre for details of those shows. \nTheatre Royal Wakefield were awarded Charity of the Year at the Wakefield BID Awards and also ‘Wakefield Member of the Year’ at the MY Chamber Awards!\nTheir nominations considered all aspects of the work they deliver\, including inclusion\, creativity\, and community empowerment. They deliver high-quality productions that entertain and inspire\, although the impact reaches far beyond the stage. As a registered charity\, they are committed to making the arts accessible to all. Their work supports learning-disabled young people\, empowering students\, and opens doors for marginalised groups including asylum seekers\, refugees\, and young carers. \nThe Theatre Royal lies on the corner of Westgate and Drury Lane. It was designed in 1894 as the Wakefield Opera House\, by renown Theatre Architect Frank Matcham\, and was built at a price of £13\,000. \nThere are two performances today of Jack & The Beanstalk\, at 1.30pm and 7pm

SUMMARY:Pink Tribute at The Glasshouse\, Kirk Sandall\, Doncaster DN3 1HP
DESCRIPTION:The Glasshouse in Kirk Sandall was originally called the Kirk Sandall Hotel up until 1956/1957 when it was renamed The Glassmaker\, having been erected by Pilkington Glass\, of St. Helens\, who had a large manufacturing factory in Kirk Sandall. \nWhen it first opened in 1934 it was regarded as being years ahead of its time for example one of the original windows was 20 x 10 feet and contained 98 panes of glass\, with dogs representing various breeds having been cut into some panes. Inside there were glass panels\, squares and shapes of many sizes and colours\, some were quite rare and one door was of armour-cast toughened glass. The Mirrored walls in one of the smaller rooms magically turned it into a vast auditorium where three or four people would suddenly be multiplied into hundreds of reflected images! \nNow called The Glasshouse it is situated only a ten minute drive from Doncaster town centre. It not only takes pride in its great facilities and menu but also the welcome that you receive. It’s an ideal host for nearly all occasions with its multi purpose function room\, The Pollitzer Suite\, and Wi-Fi Internet capabilities. The venue is dog friendly and families are welcome. \nTribute to Pink on Saturday 28th November\nTicket includes a Pie & Pea Supper and late Disco.\nTickets are £20 and are available at Https://WWW.Trybooking.co.uk

SUMMARY:Open Mic Night at The Falcon Club\, Otley LS21 3AT
DESCRIPTION:The Falcon Sports & Social Club was originally was originally built in 1909 as an Oddfellows Friendly Society Hall. but later became a Social Club for workers at the nearby Crabtree Vickers Factory. When the factory closed down\, the Clubhouse was gifted to the employees and it subsequently became a Private Members Club. \nThe Clubhouse is of timber construction\, and was threatened by demolition when planning permission was granted by Leeds City Council for the building of a nearby Care Home. However the Club Members refused an offer to buy them out\, and have since made improvements\, which include moving the Snooker Table into an extension\, to make it less of a Snooker Hall and more of a Social Club. Further improvements have included the addition of Disabled Facilities\, which because of the Club being all on one level makes it an ideal location as a Venue for Parties and Wakes\, for which it is available at very reasonable rates. \nAs a Member’s Club the Beer prices are also reasonably priced\, although Guests need to be signed in by a Member. The Club has 2 teams entered into the Otley & District Snooker League\, home games of which which are held on Tuesday evenings. \nEvery Friday the Club hosts an Open Mic Night from 8pm\norganised by Daniel and Margaret Marshall.\nOpen Mic Night at The Falcon Club\, Otley LS21 3AT \nOpen Mic Night\, Otley\, Falcon Club\, Sports & Social Club\, Venue Hire\, Private parties\, Leeds\, Leeds City Council\, BBC\, West Yorkshire\, Youtube\, Google\, Tonight\, Friday 12th December\,
