SUMMARY:Jam Night at The Blues Bar\, Harrogate HG1 2TJ
DESCRIPTION:The Blues Bar in Harrogate is a “Rollicking night-time Blues Music Hangout and relaxed Daytime Café and Bar with a Funky Décor” according to their web site\, and it’s difficult to improve upon that exact description. \nIt’s a small Café style venue in Harrogate Town Centre\, literally a few seconds walk from the world famous Betty’s Tea Room & Café\, with a small stage\, probably fewer than 30 seats\, but with a fantastic intimate atmosphere\, and with an exceptional program of Live Entertainment every night of the week. \nCheck for occasional variations\, but Martin Rose hosts a Jam Night every Monday and then the Acoustic Sessions every Tuesday\, the fabulous Maurice Grumbleweed presents his relaxed Blues Night every Wednesday\, with more than a touch of the humour that made him and his fellow Grumbleweeds into National Treasures\, and Guest Bands / Artistes on Thursday\, Friday\, Saturday and double or occasionally treble up Bands all day on Sunday. \n[Strongly recommended] \nMonday 3rd November is Jam Night hosted by Martin Rose \n(from 9.30pm)

SUMMARY:Live Lounge Open Mic Night at St. Robert's Catholic Club\, Harrogate HG1 1HP
DESCRIPTION:Located at 5a Robert Street\, Harrogate\, HG1 1HP\, next door to St Roberts Centre and directly opposite St Roberts Church\, the Catholic Club is open to all\,  everyone is welcome (including well behaved dogs on a lead!)  and especially visitors to Harrogate. The Club has several rooms for hire at a reasonable cost and suitable for many occasions\, including  Christenings\,  Funeral Teas\, Birthdays\, Anniversaries\, Retirements\, Re-unions\, Baby Showers\, or Charity Events. \n\n\n The Catholic Club\, Harrogate was originally founded in May 1912 by Parish priest Augustine Saxton and 18 men led by local businessman Antonio Fattorini\, as a place for Irish and Italian immigrants to meet and socialise away from their work in the hotels of Harrogate. It is now a modern building welcoming all\,  whatever their religion\, and although commonly known as St Robert’s Club\, a recent AGM decided to recognise their roots and reintroduce ‘Catholic’ back into the name\, and so is now to be called St. Robert’s Catholic Club. \nThere is a wide and varied mixture of events throughout the week\, including Chess Club\, Drama Group\, Craft Workshops\, Philosophy Cafe\, Folk Club\, Acoustic Open Mic Night\, Archaeological Society\, Soul Lounge Nights with DJ and Vinyl only and Quiz Nights. Check out further and fuller details at Http:///www.Strobertsclub.co.uk \nLive Lounge Open Mic Night on Friday 14th November

SUMMARY:The Marauders at The Blues Bar\, Harrogate HG1 2TJ
DESCRIPTION:The Blues Bar in Harrogate is a “Rollicking night-time Blues Music Hangout and relaxed Daytime Café and Bar with a Funky Décor” according to their web site\, and it’s difficult to improve upon that exact description. \nIt’s a small Café style venue in Harrogate Town Centre\, literally a few seconds walk from the world famous Betty’s Tea Room & Café. The Bar has only a small stage\, and probably fewer than 30 seats\, but has a fantastic intimate atmosphere\, and with an exceptional and varied program of top Live Entertainment every night of the week. \n[] \nThe Marauders appear at The Blues Bar on Friday 28th November \n(from 9.00pm)

SUMMARY:Xander & The Peace Pirates at The Blues Bar\, Harrogate HG1 2TJ
DESCRIPTION:This group held a five-year tenure as Resident House Band at Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club and later went on to support the likes of Joe Bonamassa\, Joe Satriani\, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band\, The Temperance Movement\, ex-Whitesnake’s Bernie Marsden and even Bon Jovi at Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium. \nIn 2016\, Xander & The Peace Pirates released their debut album\, titled 11:11\, on V2 Benelux Records. They recorded at the world-famous Wisseloord studios in Hilversum\, outside of Amsterdam. The album went on to receive broad critical acclaim\, with Classic Rock writing\, “The novelty of frontman Keith Xander’s guitar approach – he lodges a plectrum in the hook of his prosthetic arm – is soon overshadowed by this band’s convincing splice of soul\, blues and country.”  BBC Radio 2’s Whispering Bob Harris shared\, “This band are just awesome\, and take me right back to my OGWT days.”   \nThe Blues Bar in Harrogate is a “Rollicking night-time Blues Music Hangout and relaxed Daytime Café and Bar with a Funky Décor” according to their web site\, and it’s difficult to improve upon that exact description. \nIt’s a small Café style venue in Harrogate Town Centre\, literally a few seconds walk from the world famous Betty’s Tea Room & Café.
